The Gold Series® Console incorporates all of the latest technologies to give you simple and convenient touch pad operation of nearly every secondary control function available. With this revolutionary product, only a single touch pad is necessary. Not only does the Gold Series® require much less space than previous multi-touch pad systems, but by utilizing LCD technology and multiplexed priority sequencing, you can operate more functions than before. |

The Gold Series® Touchpad consists of an LCD screen surrounded by lighted multi-function keys. The LCD screen indicates which functions can be accessed directly and also displays which functions are currently active. In addition, the main vehicle battery voltage is displayed at all times.
The touchpad also acts as the programming interface to the CPU, as many of the Gold Series® functions are programmable by an EMC Certified Dealer to adapt to your unique needs. As an example, you may request that your dealer program the system to utilize the popular theft-deterrent security code requirement for starting the vehicle. Now that’s peace of mind!
Smart Shift® and Digitone® are built in, and the innovative VIC® "Voice Interactive Control Technology" is available as a plug-in option. |

The Gold Series® CPU is the single interface between the touchpad and the vehicles electrical system. Today's vehicles are extremely complex, but Gold Series® communicates directly with the vehicles computers for problem free driving. Installation of a complete console system has never been simpler for your EMC Certified Dealer.

- With the HVAC option, Gold Series offers access to the vehicle climate control functions (i.e. temperature, A/C clutch and air flow direction).

Easy Diagnostics
To aid technicians during vehicle electrical system diagnostics, EMC has incorporated an array of LED indicators on the CPU case to verify proper circuit operation. All circuits are protected and designed to handle more than the power load requirements as rated by the OEM, and all components have been tested to SAE J1113 electrical standards and TUV homologation standards.
From time to time software updates are created to add even more versatility and programming functions to your Gold Series® system. So, EMC created a Windows® based program called "Evolution"®, that allows your dealer to upload these updates from a laptop computer. These updates are free to all EMC customers, to assure that our consumers have the most current enhancements for their Gold Series® systems. |

Optional Equipment

| The most popular options available are the Remote Start and VIC® (Voice Interactive Controls). As with other EMC options, the Remote Start utilizes the circuits from the Gold Series®, so just plug it in. No additional connections are required. Imagine starting your vehicle and having the air conditioner or heater adjust the vehicle's interior temperature for you. That's comfort at the press of a button. |
